  1. All those who can follow these platitudes don’t need them, and those that need them can’t follow them. Knowing the words doesn’t help you to walk the walk, the few people who are ever inspired to change their lives because of a quote would have changed their lives anyway.

    The last quote in particular speaks to me. Happiness not a reward, but a choice.

    The only thing I would add is that all cliches lend power to those who have experience to match, otherwise they are empty wisdoms- vehicles without keys.

  14. There’s more than one way to skin a cat. Practice can be spelled Practise, one’s American one’s English. Be easier on the original poster of this fun/enlightening stuff please.
